Teenage Pregnancy Project

A 25 minutes preventative information video about teenage pregnancy. The structure of this truly participatory piece was built around a chat show format where real young mothers took part in several workshops including; Drama, Music, Web Design, Animation, Radio and Video Production.  All these were used to formulate the chat show, presented and hosted by teenage mothers themselves. The guest on the show were also teenage parents who were invited to talk about their sexual experiences and the difficulties of becoming a parent at such a young age.  Drama sketches, radio debates and vox pops  from Barking and Dagenham town centre were used to support  the show, touching on subjects ranging from sex and alcohol to contraception and absent fathers.
